Having purchased mine in JAN in New Hampshire, with snow all about, the dealer trailered it to my house. Longest winter and second highest amount of snow. Usually ride by the end of FEB, mid Mar. I did not get to ride until the 2nd week of April...
Notice the coat...and the red thermal shirt sticking out of the HD shirt...IT was 26F that day.

Ride it home! I rode mine home 44 miles in the rain. It sure wasn't raining in the morning when I rode my Night Train over to trade it in...Wasn't supposed to rain until the afternoon, but oh well. I was soaked, but it was well, well worth it.
SWEEEEEEEET!!!!!!!! Loved the 100 mile ride home yesterday and all I can say is Awesome, this bike Like its name,ROCKS! I love it already cant seem to stay off of it. Ive been riding as much as possible the last two days and going agian tommorrow with my buddy from work who has a heritage softtail classic. I got the crimson red sun glo and the paint really "pops" in the sun. Lots of metal flake that really sparkels. Was set on getting a black one but they had all three colors lined up and the red caught both me and the wifes eye. Asked the salesman if he would take it outside so I could see it in the sunlight and thats what did it. As soon as I get the pic thing figured out Ill post some. First mod was to remove the cheesy reflectors and that took a total of 5 mins. Really makes the chrome front end on the bottom forks look even better. Next mod will be to relocate the license plate and clean up that back fender. Anyway enough rambling,Im glad shes home. Thanks also for the welcomes, later Sonny T

I had a driver in a Porsche 911 Turbo Convertable pull alongside my red FXCW on Friday and the sun was making the gold metaflake sparkle like a diamond. He was staring so I asked him if he wanted to trade, but he said "Really nice Paint Job", "Custom?". I just smiled and drove away.
Glad to have another Crimson Red Rider on the road.
