SYN3 Lubricant
I've been hearing some negative press on HD's relatively new synthetic oil, SYN3, apparently the dealers are pulling out of the engines as the moco is finding premature engine wear. Anyone hear anything further to this? I'm stickin' to the tried and true HD 20w50

PUBA ONE, I'd be real interested to know the origin of your controversial information about HD Synthetic oil...

If Harley is putting it in there Screamn Eagle bikes, and tested it, and wants you to put in there 20k + bikes, I would think they did a lot of research, so nothing happens to there/your bike...Is there better stuff,,,yes,,,,does it real matter?? I used to run my 1976 AMF with 50wgt, changed every 3k...in the age of instant data with the INTERNET, we drive ourselves nuts,,,,,Ihave been running syn3 for 4 years and never had a problem,,

I asked for feedback, guess I got it....."negative press" it's an expression. I heard it from someone, who heard it from someone etc. etc. As for my sources....its a moot point. jeeez !!
