Has anyone figured out a way to stop the passenger from cooking her feet on the exhaust pipes on the Deuce???? My wife burns her boots and I end up cleaning the mess off my pipes after every ride. I have the factory exhaust with a set of Rush slip-ons had I known it would be like this I would of looked for a two into one exhaust. Thanks in advance Glen 05 Deuce Red
I have used offsets for the peg mounts on my last 3 bikes, including my current Deuce. They are sorta Z shaped and move footpegs out around an inch and allow pivoting up, down, fore and aft. Solved my pipe problem and are more comfortable.
Same problem on my bike. I have the Matt Hotch Slants so it's really bad.
I run the tool bag that mounts to the right fender strut. This come with a peg extension and keeps the pass foot from touching the pipe. Also a little extra storage.
I had the same problem, even with my 2-1. I bought some offset extenders from Kuryakyn, go to http://www.kuryakyn.com/category.asp...ponents&page=4. Now my wife has her own bike so I don't even run rear pegs, but, they do work great.
