Default Cylinder compression

My father in law has a 1994 Softail Custom with some problems. To make a long question short, he is getting 113 psi compression on both cylinders. We cannot find any information on what the compression is supposed to be. Any ideas?

Thanks guys!

Evan

If the engine is stock and the test was done on a cold engine, then 113 is not too bad. If it was done on a hot engine then I would think it should probibly read about 125 to 180.

Thanks for the info JohnK! We re-ran compression test when engine was warm and got 150 psi on both jugs. So now its on to rebuild the S&S Super E!
Thanks again,

Evan
