Is it a salvage title or not? It will make a huge difference. Any motor mods? Was it repaired by a dealer or individual? What bags?

Thanks for the reply.....

Yes it was repaired by a Harley Dealer, and No it does not have a salvage title. The only parts which are new, are those which I listed above.

Just a little more info, my buddy was in traffic, was changing lanes, andthe lane he went into, the cage in front of him, wasn't paying attention to traffic and slammed on their brakes. He tried to lock them up, his front tire hit the rear bumper of the car, and the back end of the scoot swung to the left, and came around and also hit the back of the car.

There are no motor mods, except for the addition of some chrome, and I'm sorry, I can't say for sure what bags he had on the scoot.

Respects,
Ed

Sorry to hear about your bud. I'd say around 12K with the used bike market the way it is and the bike being in an accident. That's just my opinion based on the prices I've helped my friends sell their bike's for and watching the market. I hope your friend has a full and speedy recovery.

Thanks for the input Crusher, I do appreciate it.

My buddy has been thru re-hab, and back at home now. We're all hoping that he will be able to return to a job in the next year or so. His short term memory is coming back, although he lost many of his past years. It's unfortunate that he has to hang up his riding boots as I'm sure he was looking forward to many more years on the road.

Respects,
Ed

FWIW I had a friend go through the same thing...long term rehab, memory loss, etc and she is doing great now.
