Default CA emissions crap

How is the emissions cannister and all the related crap removed on CA emission bikes?

curious minds want to know

I've never seen a canister on a softail.&nbsp\\; My sons dyna had one but he removed it and removed or plugged the lines.&nbsp\\; He did a search on here and found the directions somewhere.
