Default Nighttrain bars

Morning all -
&nbsp\\;
I've been looking at picking up a nighttrain, but I'm not exactly like the riding position with the stock bars.&nbsp\\; Anyone change their bars on the nighttrain, any recommendations?

Depends,

If you are tall like me (6-4 "), you are going to like the stock bars (like straight bars), my arms are straight out there and everyone that gets on my bike really digs the stance on the bike, kind of an aggressive stance. My buddy who is 5-10", is a little stretched out reaching with the stock bars..

I thought I was going to change my bars, but riding all my friends who have apes, and other types of bars, im sticking with stock..

Go test ride to see if it fits you and you like the stance.

If you feel as thought they are a stretch, I like what Rockerhead did, just get all black ones :-)

Im not big into Apes on longer rides, but they do look nice.

harley sells a pullback handlebar and riser set just for the FXSTB for $160. it will giver your bike 5" of pullback and you can use all of your current lines and cables.

Only about 95% of people change the Nighttrain bars it seems. A lot of the one-piece T-bars will fit with stock cablesthats what I have. A little pullback makes it a lot more comfortable. A little wider bar will let you actually use the mirrors.
