Hello. FNG here looking at first-time buy of a H-D. I do not know how readily the factory can be got to do mods, so I thought I would run the idea by you guys first and see how to approach the dealer and so on.
The changes seem fairly simple to me: I like the Black Vivid Rocker (without the C or the Deluxe paint option - I am not a big fan of chrome or flame). BUT, the body color swing arm seems much better at giving the hardtail look, and I would want the oil tank to be body color, too. Both of those parts are stock items in the Rocker C parts bin.
Is it a big deal deal to get H-D to swap those parts? What sort of upcharges should I expect? What sort of time to delivery?
