Do a Google search for motorcycle intercom systems. Starcom1 looks like a good system. I haven't got a system yet, but still shopping.....

There was a post about this in CHAT the other day...

I have tried two different brands... ChatterBox and Nady. Both were okay but most of the time they were a pain... And the chatterbox will pick up Baby Monitors which can be VERY annoying.

The intercoms really are not all the are cracked up to be... But hey... everyone's different.

I had a starcom1 fitted to my heritage, and it was SUPERB. I also wired my Zumo sat nav into it - so I could here stereo music from the Zumo!
I managed to recieve a phone call at 80mph, and they didn't even know I was riding.

The only slight issue I had was electrical interferance. In the end I put the starcom in a tank pouch (I had to drill holes in the back of the pouch to hide the cables. I then had to keep the Zumo audio cables away from the battery on the bike. THis did the trick, as I could access the controls on the starcom much easier. Only drawback of putting it in a pouch, was the lack of space to add a bike-to-bike intercom - although I am sure you could find a way around this...

I have the Autocom unit fitted in the left pannier and its great even with a 3/4 Helmet. They supply you with a special open face helmet kit to cut out wind noise and I can chat with my daughter easily at 80mph. I plug a TomTom rider sat nav into itand some times the Ipod when I have a long boring journey. Due to the UK having so many speed cameras (Fixed and mobile) I have all of their positions entered into the sat nav so I have prior warnings through the helmet which makes for easier riding.

The voice activated speach mode can be adjusted and the quality of sound is fantastic and it virtually cuts out all wind noise. Sometimes I have used a two way radio with it when riding with a mate and its a hell of a lot better than trying to shout at each other or making daft hand signals.

The TomTom has blue tooth so you could use the phone but I don't ! the last thing I want is a phone conversation when riding so I keep a phone with me but not connect to the intercom.

I notice that some states don't allow helmet ear pieces but no such problem here and police have better things to do.
