Has anyone used or seen the saddlebag brackets called Easyrackets (www.easybrackets.com)? \\; I am considering them for my 2007 Softail Custom.
 \\;
I have them on my 07 custom and I love them because the bags pop off in a second. I had to put a 3/8" bushing behind the mount bolts so they would clear that little curve on the side of the backrest. Also had to relocated turn signals because they were in the way of the bags. I just moved them to the side of the taillight bracket on that little flat spot. \\;\\\\\\;
Dave,
Can you put up some pics of the setup? With and without the bags on, and what bags your using?
I'm curious to see how they fit/look with your relocated turns.
I put them on Dad's 07 Custom last year. \\; \\; He really likes them and has had no \\;problems so far. \\; \\; I have them for my 03 FXST as well and have been very happy with them.
Not trying to steal anyone's thunder but I went with Leather pro bags. The brackets and bags are sold as a package. They are a little pricey but you don't have to relocate the turn signals. They can be locked as well and come with a pair of padlocks. I would post pix but it's raining.
I would be interested in seen them, after it stops raining that is.
I changed my taillight for the Tri-bar so relocating the turns to the light bracket may not be very practical or possible without a bit of fabrication.
