Sorry about your bike though. In terms of picking a new one you cant go wrong. I was gonna post about the cager that cut me off yesterday in the rain...(down goes Frazier). I fell into oncoming traffic but was thankfully not hit. My bike is still rideable. Just a little dinged. I'll need a new shifter probably. I was slowing to turn into a gas station when it happened. If I hadn't put bags on yesterday the whole left side would be... a wrap.
