Just put 16" apes and rear lowering kit on my 06 Heritage ,I only lowered the rear 3/4 of an inch but now the bike seems to drift left all the time. Could it possibly be one shock longer or softer than the other ,both seem to be adjusted the same but would a slight difference be enough to cause a problem. I prety sure its not the front brake cause it doesnt drift any worse when applying the brake. Any suggestions?
It does it fast or slow I had someone else ride the bike and didnt tell them the first thing they said was my bike goes left. As far as seating position or a matter of getting used to the apes Ive been on the same bike for 15000 miles and I had the same bars on another bike with no problem. I rode down the road squared my butt on the seat and let go of the bars to see what happens and it definetly goes left in a hurry. Thats why i was thinking rear suspension since that was the only other thing I changed.
Front wheel bearing? That could be possible now that I think about it before I tore the bike down to do bars and rear shocks I did hit a huge pot hole hard I guess I will take off the front wheel and check that. Thanks

Don't bring it to a dealer and think they will fix it... my 08 X-Bones drifts left... told them about it last week on my 1 k service... I got the we test drove it and didn't find any problems... They are screwed in the head... and as far as seating postion... I had my right cheek hanging off and still drifted to the left... the belt is running on the left side of the rear sprocket... but they saying there is no alignment problem... WTF!
