Hi guys , I have popping sounds on my V&H exhaust when I ease of the throttle is this happening because it is running rich a bit ? My bike is a HD NT 08 with big sucker , V&H SLS and the Dobeck TFI installed set on stage one . bike has only done 120 miles .. any ideas please.
I bought mine because it was the simplest and most cost efficient way to solve my need. And it has nothing to do with "mapping", you set it using your tach and a small screwdriver.

Close, but not exactly correct. \\;\\\\\\; Mark Dobeck worked for Dynojet, then struck out on his own forming Techlusion. \\;\\\\\\; He developed the TFI/DFO as an alternative to the more expensive, more complicated PC for those of us who just need to "rejet" our EFI.
I run the Dobeck and I've had mine dyno'ed. The air/fuel mixture is almost perfect and I still get some popping on decel. It's popping on acceleration that you need to worry about.
