You shouldn't have popping if the TFI is set correctly.&nbsp\\; That's what it's for.

Just out of curiosity...why did you chose the Dobeck? Most of us seem to use the SERT or PCIII.

If I'm not mistaken "Stage 1" is a general term meaning Intake/Exhaust upgrade. The mapping should be specific for each different Intake/Exhaust

I bought mine because it was the simplest and most cost efficient way to solve my need. And it has nothing to do with "mapping", you set it using your tach and a small screwdriver.

Close, but not exactly correct.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; Mark Dobeck worked for Dynojet, then struck out on his own forming Techlusion.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; He developed the TFI/DFO as an alternative to the more expensive, more complicated PC for those of us who just need to "rejet" our EFI.

I run the Dobeck and I've had mine dyno'ed. The air/fuel mixture is almost perfect and I still get some popping on decel. It's popping on acceleration that you need to worry about.
