I presume you have all the necessary components. The seat is adjustable fore and aft by about an inch. Make sure that the front mount and the spring bar are both set accordingly. Theres a picture in the owners manual.
What part are you having issues with?
When i first took mine off i had some issues with the front bracket.... but that was because I took the front bracket apart instead of just removing the one bolt that holds the bracket to the bike....
I'm new to the forum and want to thank all who took time to help and answer my question. As stated i bought the crossbone with the badlander seat and sissy bar installed. At time of purchase i was given the original seat, fender/battery cover and spring post mount. Guys this may sound funny but maybe helpful to others to learn from my mistake. You see the hinge that mounts between the frame and the seat was already attached to the seat. I was trying to mount the seat with hinge attached to the seat. After i removed the hinge or bracket and mounted it directly to the frame then i was able to attach the seat to this bracket. It's still a tight spot to get the washer and nut started. I stuck some grease to the washer and nut will kind of cling to the washer so as to be able to handle this as one piece. Once again thanks.
Hey did any of you new crossbone owners get a owners manual specific to the your bike or was it what i got a softail manual that covered the softail family of bikes?

I didn't get an owners manual at all when I picked up my Cross Bones. I completely forgot about it. I am more than certain I could go get one, but I bought the service manual for my Bones anyway so I don't even think I will bother.
The service manual does a great job of being specific for the Cross Bones IMO.
