Default Security System

Where is the HD Security System module located on a 2005 Heritage Classic? How does the optional siren connect & where?

Forward of the rear tire under the seat is the module, near the power panel by the fender extension for the connector 3 wires, brown/gray, black, light green/brown, according to the service manual.

I think the siren is a plug in on the scoots with the system

I would consider the pager system also. If you are at a bike event and an alarm goes off, you won't know who's bike it is from, if you are even close enough to hear it. With the pager, you can be in the bar around the corner and know if someone even trys to sit on her.

Is the pager system available from the factory? Or is that an aftermarket item?

Cheers!

Cool. I'll call the dealer tomorrow and find how many extra millions of dollars that will cost!

Thanks!

Cheers!

I'm thinking of putting a security system on my 02 Heritage. What would you all recommend? Is the a good aftermarket one or should I stick with OEM?
