Is it possible to have to much "bling" or every bolt on chrome cover nut and bolt that is made? some guys go nutz with it. i like my bike and vehicles sharp and clean. I'm not saying it's wrong, to each his own. But some of the bikes i see just have to much to look at and you don't see the big picture.
I agree with you, However the beauty of owning a Harley is each and every one is as different as their owners. I have seen a bike that was 100% chromed, looked different, would I want that no, did it look bad, no. Point is the guy that owned it liked it. If your like it do it. Have fun with it and create your own bike....Just my .02
Personal expression or preferance...call it what you like...That's what its all about. No different than your car/truck, house/trailer, clothes/shoes etc, etc. We all can doll em up or dress em down. YOU don't NEED to like what someone else likes. That's what makes us all unique.
TOO MUCH BLING ? Thats like having too much money or fun ! Me personally I don't like to cover chrome with more chrome , example ; chrome lifter block covers that cover the already chrome lifter blocks . Also like to have some black contrast to set off the chrome . No use for chrome nuts , bolts , etc - polished SS is the way to go , no peeling or rusting down the road .
For others, no or rather what meets their personal taste.
I know of some who spent big $$$$$ on chrome, spend hour upon hour keeping it clean, and won't ride more than a few miles for fear of getting the machine dirty.
