Why don't you ask the guy you know (who is buying for 215) for a better deal?

I've owned a few Corbin seats in the past, they are definetly a step up from HD seats in quality, but have you considered LePera as well? Unless you can't find a style you like, I would seriously look at them as well, as I would say they are themselves a step up from Corbin..........

I've run Corbins on my last two bikes & have one ordered for my '98 RoadKing now. Put 5700+ miles on my softail in one trip. A great ride. Takes about 1000 miles or so to break one in. All their seats are leather so they breathe. Advantage of ordering direct is you can get your choice of studs, no studs, stitching, color of stitching & edge beading color at no additional cost. I ordered one with black studs & tuck & roll stitching & its all the same price with no tax, only shipping. Back rests & heat is extra.

Sure I'll post a picture after it comes if I can figure out how. Haven't done that yet. It's due by Oct. 1st. I'll be selling the Mustang seat & backrest thats on it now. It has a smaller & narrower passenger seat than the Corbin. That's the reason for the swap. I got it with the bike.

Default corbin

have a 06 softail springer, ordered a dual tour from the factory. put about 700 miles on it so far and love it. a friend tried a mustang and it put him too far forward. so now he is also going to switch to the corbin

Well just an update. I went back in to the local dealer and had time to look at the price book again. the solo seat is $203.00 and $128.00 for the passenger seat. they priced them to me at 362.00 and 202.00. I think this is around 30% below retail not sure. do you guys think this is the best price I am going to come up with? or do you know someone out there not looking to make that much difference?

bought mine from corbin, there are online dealers who carry corbin but they only carry a select few seats from his line and if you want to customize then i would just go with corbin direct.
