I bought it thinking it was a springer classic one but it looks different.

Looks like a seat grab bar. Other than that, no clue.

well no kidding! lol I was hoping to find out what model , will it accept a pad , could you use a passenger pillion with it.

It is from an old touring perhaps look at the "V" shape... just a thought...

i think it might be from a 1932 toilet set gaurd. used to make sure you dont fall in? maybe

looks like a springer rail what are you trying to install it on ? I have the springer rail on my deluxe and when you install it you need to put one end in then guide the other end through. the only thing that looks differant isthe piecce that mounts to the back holes

Jokr, its for my 05 deluxe. I bought it thinking it was a HSC rail but its different. I hope to get it to work but looking at it I will need to modify it. The rear pillion cant go on with that bar because the two mount holes are inside the rail. The rear seat slides on to the hold-down *****/nuts so the rail would be in the way.

It's from V-Twin maunfacturing "Chrome FLST" seat rail." PN 31-0514. 2008 catalog, page 1181. Fits 1987-99 stock seats. I have one on my 04 Fatty, with some modifications.
