i had just purchased some bars (chubby wo503's) from e-bay and he advertised they were like new condition. i even e-mailed the guy to make sure that the desription was correct. NO SCRATCHES!!! as he said that they were free from any scratches. which they had arrived today. and guess what SCRATCHES EVERYWERE!!! on them!!! my question is? can these scratches be buffed out or willl i have to have them replated chromed? any ideas?nobody wants scratches of any kind on there bikes. here is the item number 270300482086

i dont think i want to go through the reshipping of these bars so i think i might just get them replated chrome does anyone have any idea about how much this will cost? any ideas
Here's a link to Chromemaster's website http://www.chromemasters.com/. They have a price list for damn near anything you want chromed. It should give you an idea of price range. There is also the option of powder coating them as well.

Damn.....the prices on Chromemaster's website are as high as buying new chrome from the MOCO, and you don't have to pay shipping to and from.
save the emails and contact ebay, he will have to refund your money. best thing is to have a paypal account, they freeze the money until the problem is resolved. also the new ebay policy is that a seller cant leave negative feedback for a buyer, only positive or nothing, but you can leave negative for him. i had a dispute about some tie rods and they refunded my money.
