chrome cleaning

chrome cleaning
i removed a sticker on my air intake cover and was looking for
suggestions on removing residual glue. anybody try goo b gone
on chrome?

No I havent tride goo gone on chrome, but if u use a hair dryer to heat up the glue, it will come off relatively easy. Thats how I deal with stickers glue on my bike.

Glue off chrome.... Naptha.. also known as lighter fluid.. works great

WD-40 works fine and is safe for paint. Just wash with soapy water and wax afterwards.

Yup - Naptha (lighter fluid). Comes off slick as can be.

Put some brake cleaner on a rag and lay it on the glue for a few minutes. It will soften up the glue and you will be able to wipe it right off.

Yeah, I've used it on my pipes. Works good and chrome good as new.
