Okay, I have tried using the search feature, with no luck. Does anyone have any pics of a fatboy/heritage...blacked-out. More specifically the front end (forks/tins...).
Personally, I do not like chrome anything. I have hated it since I was young. My plan this winter is to completely black-out the bike. Can't afford all of the engine work I was originally planning... I would like to see some pics (that are not NT's) of the front end. I love the look of the engine without chrome, that is going to happen for sure; the wheels are probably going black along with the fender struts, belt guard, signals... But, what I haven't seen is the front.

I'm doing a blackout project on my 06 FXSTI this winter....I know I should of just bought a Night Train...I doing it for just something to do and keep my blood moving this winter. Ive been getting a lot of parts off ebay to keep the price down. Got a box full of parts to get powdercoated this winter for example fork sliders, 12.5 apes, a triple tree i got from a friend, risers...basically front end stuff. I already got a wrinkle black sissybar and side plates, but waiting for my fender struts, whitch is the only thing I had to pay "new" price for so far. I'll get all that stuff on first before I decide on whether to go for the engine...who knows that engine might look real good just as it is surrounded with black.
Soul Cal, I am sold! That is one sharp lookin ride you got. I like the front, I am not a fan of the nacelle though...but all black is just what i am looking for. I wanted to see it before I made up my mind.
Got an okay deal for the components (free), swapping my good chrome for my buddies not so good (he pays for ALL of my powder coating +...), he gets what he wants and I get what I want.
I love black parts, still trying to decide whether I should get black on the Fat spoke wheels have am saving money for. Thought maybe black spokes with chrome rims and nipples.
