Hoping someone out there can help.....

A buddy of mine just bought an '06 Heritage and was given a windshield that was used on a '98 Fatboy. The windshield does have the cross bars on it but what he needs is the hardware to mount to his new bike. Is this even possible and if so is there anyway to make it a quick detach? I tried to find out what the HD part number is of the windshield but I have yet to see it.

His heritage is a standard without the aux. lamps and no nacelle on the headlamp.
