Silver Jugs
Came across a good deal on some brand new silver jugs to convert from an 88 to a 95 (Big Bore). Only Problem is that they are silver and my stocks are black. With this in mind, can I get away with painting them black? If so what type of paint would you recommend along with procedures?

Your preference of course, but don't think you will get a huge gain from seven or eight cubic inches, unless you have cam, head, intake work done. Good move if your engine rings are shot, but otherwise, don't think it will yield much.

Yes. Changing out the cam to an SE 203, and the heads to SE MCR. That's what started this project in the first place. Basically, sense I got it apart might as well but in the big bore.

I agree, the new motor that are silver and black do look good! Now would be a great time to send them off and have the heads and jugs diamond cut
