Dropping the rear is exactly what I have been thinking since I moved the license plate- seems like too much of a gap between the rear fender and the tire. Any suggestions for lowering kits or best ways to do it? Thanks for all the feedback!!

Lots of generic lowering kits on ebay on the $20 range. Easy to install. Several recent threads with step by step instructions.

Are the $20 ebay specials the best way to go with lowering a bike? If they are good, I have no heartache in it, but are they trustworthy? I don't want a sketchy setup with the fiancee on the back...
