Default Help with horn

I put a springer horn part #69005-85t on my 2007 deluxe (I replaced the original with this horn and left it in the same place on the side) I hooked the two wires up to it and the horn does not work. Am I doing something wrong??

Maybe you reversed the wires. Also make sure the ground for the horn is on tight as if not the horn will not work. The ground is on the rear motor mount right near the horn.

Don;t matter if horn is on or off the bike, or if the wires are reversed. If the original horn works, then its gotta be a bad horn.

you can hook up the horn directly to the battery with aligator clips just to eliminate wiring problem. But, again, no need to since your stock horn works... Take it back jokr...

Did the same thing and had the exact same problem as you!! The horn was not bad...that brass colored, threaded stud with the philips screwdriver opening on the back of the horn, was threaded in too far, not allowing the horn to function. Back out the threaded stud, and then give it a try!!
