Take alook at this site. It will give you a good idea.

Also, be careful with the manual. It tells you how to completely disasemble the Fork including removing the springs. You don't have to remove the springs for a Slider swap.
The manual will tell you how much Fork Oil to add as well.

I was one of the lucky ones that got the front end off eBay really cheap too. I did the install last week myself. It really is an easy job. The kit does come with seals. The only thing I HAD to buy was fork oil. And it is 12.9 oz. per side. But if you are going to take her apart, I figured it was a good time to do everything. So I went with braided cables, caliper, rotor.....as they say, a picture is a thousand words...lol
You don't happen to still have the installation instructions do you? I'm having eye surgery Monday and my parts don't get here till Monday night, so I thought if I could take a peek at the instructions while I wait , I'd be that much ahead.
Here's a couple. If I get another set of forks at the same price as the last I might put them on my own bike. Did I mention it was my wife's bike that got my last set

Let's remind the members of this forum who informed you of this good deal you got

???
The chrome front end package consists of separate components. Some have instructions and others don't. Look for my previous post:

I bought the manual thinking that I would attempt the work myself... We're buried in snow here so I haven't started anything yet. I still don't know if I'm confident enough to tackle it or not.
Good luck!

Yep, and even if she didn't mess up her front forks I would've let her have mine
Been looking high and look for another steal like the one we got (that YOU told us about
) but haven't found any even close. Must've been an overstocked situation.

Do I need special software to open email fax papers?
