It comes with instructions, but the manual is more helpful. you will need some pvc pipe, I used 1 1/2 inch but I think 2 inch would of been better, to install the seals you will have to buy the new seals seperate. I used heavy weight fork oil. I think the frontend feels better with the heavier oil, now. your manual will tell you how much. I think mine was 12.9oz in each tube, comes in a 16 oz bottle=2 bottles. for the 6mm allen I just cut a 6mm allen and used a 6mm socket. you will need a torque wrench and some brake fluid, but I replaced my brake line, pads and caliper bolts while it was apart. a wrench big enough to take off the filler cap, on top of the trees. oh and dont forget the loctite.
I did not remove the tank, I just slid it back. make sure you disconnect the fuel line from the tank before you ever start. make sure you cover the tank with something just encase you hit it when you are filling the forks. make sure you have the right metric, mine was a 9 point 10mm i think, socket for the caliper.
some antseezee for the axle.

The kit that several of us bought before Christmas included the seals. From my reading of the manual and other research this is not the simple wrench job I thought it was.
I'm sure I could've done it myself but call it luck or bad luck, had an accident and the dealer installed the kit for no extra cost. Normally would've been a $325 job and as I said, would've probably been money well spent imo.
There's a couple good pictorials online and I think maybe in the tech section which look to be helpful. I'll see If I can dig them up.

Here's a couple. If I get another set of forks at the same price as the last I might put them on my own bike. Did I mention it was my wife's bike that got my last set
