Default Wicked!! Anniversary Fat Boy

I was browsing through exhaust systems in JP Cycles' catalog and came across the above image. I have the same bike and thought this just looked too wicked to ignore. Anybody have V&H Big Radius pipes on their Fat Boy? How do they sound? Deep and throaty or more shallow and cracky?

I'm also thinking of having the wheels painted black around the inside where they're unpolished. Thoughts and opinions on this?

I think the big radius sound pretty nice. They look awsome on that bike. If you do the black ones then do the black in the center of the wheels it would look so much better. But only if you do the black exhaust.

You should be asking who hasn't put Big Radius pipes on their bike.....very common.

I prefer the V&H 2-into-1 Pro Pipe HS but I'm really liking the look of the Big Radius 2-into-1. I've always preferred 2-into-1 over the duals. More a matter of attitude than performance for me. My Fatboy (2003) is fairly stock except for stage 1. The sound of the Pro Pipes are great. As for the color - I'm liking the black against the chrome.

Bike's in the shop now getting new shocks and springs (dropping 2"). New pipes may be next.

Take a listen to this video <http://video.aol.com/video-detail/escape-harley-fatboy-vance-hines-big-radius/3164946849>.

Yep. That's what I was thinking. Thanks

Not where I live. Everybody seems to be more into slip-on mufflers, here in Japan, because it's a quick upgrade in sound. That's why if I do what I'm thinking, as outlined above, it will stand out and look wicked-cool!

Even over in the States, it seems short or long shots are more common on a Fatty. Haven't seen many with V&H Big Radius 2-2 tubes on them.

first time i see a fatty with a V&H 2-2. looks nice.

do the black pipes only if you plan on going ahead and painting your wheels black. otherwise go with that chrome pipes.

Before I got my Fattie I test drove a 08 with the BR pipes. They were nice.

I went with the Big Shot Staggered for my bike, the BR didn't fit my idea of what I was wanting for my bike.

One of the things that attracted me the fatboy was all the chrome on the engine. Not sure how black pipes would fit into that. I went with V&H BSS and for the neighbors I added quiet baffles .
