i think that lower plastic one would deflect the road debre into the belt

I've been running an open belt on mine for 4 years now, never had a problem with little rocks getting kicked up. The ball bearing set up is sweet!! I put one on last year. Highly recommend it.

There are some cool covers out there, check Ebay, theres a guy in CA that will custom make a cover for you for about $250.

I looked on BDL site at the new for '07 - '09 EVO-8S 2 3/4 open primary, but couldn't find prices anywhere....anyone know?

odered mine from here, cheapest place i found, cheaper then zanotti's by about $80

the only open primary that looks awesome is the performance machine one...
all the other ones look, well, not so good...big problem though $4000
