My neighbor is looking at a 1998 fatboy with 43000 miles on it, at this point all we know about this bike, as far as mods go, that it has V&H pipes on it, They are asking $9000 for it, I thought that was a little much, what do you think this bike is worth, just by the pic........going to look at this weekend

I think it's too much with that kind of mileage.

Too much. I bought my 2000 last year with 8600 miles on it for 10.5K. I would speculate 7500 - 8000 would be a fair price.

They are probably trying to compensate for all the mods and chrome they have put on it. Too much. Somebody needs to give them a dose of reality.
