Looking to purchase new chrome wheels, matching rotors and pulley for my 06 Fatboy. Do any of you fellow riders know of any web sites to look at wheels rotors and pulleys to match. I know of a few. Just looking to get different ideas and good package deals. Thanks... Ray
I have been looking hard at: http://www.jirehcycles.com/
They some some deals that look too good to be true on Ultima Wheels but claim they are made in the US.
Check out www.hogpro.com. If you want they'll mount and balance a new tire and rotor on there, and all you have to do is bolt it on the assembly. Great deal.
It all depends on if you want to buy a set, or piece it together. If you want to buy a set from experienced people who do great work you can't beat Hogpro. If you are on a bit more of a budget try piecing it together on ebay or from the forums.
I two have been looking at getting new wheels. I want a solid smooth chrome disk. or maybe a ten spoke wheel. the ones with the heavy spokes.
I had been looking at exchanging mine for a set of chrome ones. But, someone on here the other day pointed out how a cast wheel will have pores, thus eventually cause the chrome to peel. therefore, if you get a chrome wheel it needs to be a billet or forged wheel, I guess.
I do not really know if this is true or not but it makes since. maybe someone can let me know if this is correct.
ray, hogpro for my wheels rotors and pulley. great customer service. check out the softail bike gallery for ideas and they have good deals on the "saver sets"
