I always got about 7000 on my rear 150 Sporty, my new Bones has the 200 rear and I have 7000 and it looks like it will go another 7000. I can only guess the bigger rear tire lasts longer. Is this true? I swear my back tire looks like I will go about 14,000 before I hit the tire indicator, it still looks new.
Does anyone know if tire size effects life, seems like it should.
I replaced both of my stock Dunlops at 8K. They wouldn't pass the state inspection, although I would have run them for another 2-3K otherwise.
I bought Dunlops again. Way too convenient at the dealer. I will see how these wear, then maybe make another choice next time. I ran Continentals for years on my other bikes. They wear great, but not as grippy as the Dunlops.
