I have both, they both have there good and bad, carbs hundreds of dollars cheaper to tune, when you put exhausts and air cleaners on, sound better to me anyways while running, no computers, or fuel pumps to sh$t the bed, yeah I know you have to play with the choke for a mile when its cold, wow big deal, and a lot less that can go wrong. EFI's dont cough and stall at lights, gets better milage, on mine anyways, probally more power. I am comparing a 79 electra glide to a 08 cross bones, so I am new to the efi's. This is just my opinion so far. Now dont get me wrong here, I love my cross bones, and the 96 motor, but at idle, it dosen't have the heart and soul of my shovel head sitting there.

After my first EFI bike..I knew I wouldn't own anything different..Starts better..no more juicing up the carb before you hit the button, runs better in colder weather, I like the response.

I understand a carb, too many 'electrial do-dads' in EFI. I'll stick with my carb, once set, they are great and almost trouble free.
