Bought myself an 01 Fatboy and was wondering about eye protection. I wear prescription glasses, Mr Magoo has better eyesight, but I need a pair of goggles to go over my eyeglasses. Any recommendations?
Take a look at Nannini. They are pretty classic looking (almost like the old WWII pilots) but you can order them with internal frames for prescription lenses. I wore mine (without prescription) all through the winter because they are also pretty good with not fogging.
I wear Spy brand motocross goggles, these could most likely fit over your specs. I wear contacts and the tight seal they make on my face keeps all the wind off of them so they dont dry out.
cocoons do it for me. They are sunglasses that fit over prescription glasses. They come in different colors and sizes. You can find them at most good optometrist offices. Cost about 40 bucks if I remember right.
I went w/ the wiley-x brand. Expensive, but the fit and finish is right on. You'll have to contact the vendor w/ your prescription in order to know which styles are available to you.
However, I am a super-tight a@@ so I bought a set off of Ebay (just arrived today actually). They are a $30 set off of Ebay. They work great and don't look too bad. They are goggles though and not sunglasses so keep that in mind.
I went with the All-Star Goggles with smoke and clear lenses. If they don't work they were only $30 bucks.
I searched and searched and they seemed to be the best bang for my buck. I guess I am getting old.
