Not sure where the ECM is on a bones, but we frenched this one in to fit under the seat. and if you're thinking of lowering the bike, do it prior to putting this fender on. It will make the the lines look better.

I was thinking of just installing the fender with the stock strut hole. Then Filling in all other wholes and the brake light slot. I like the RWD holder/light set up just not sure how much more it will cost in bodywork. Not sure were my ECM is either. I will have to look and see.

Under the seat I'm sure. The RWD fender comes with a flat spot to drill and mount ECM.

Ok I am lost. If the ecm is under the seat which it is. Why would I just not mount it there on the fat bob fender? The RWD welds in on the back of the fender not the front. Please advice. Also if I am using the stock mounting holes why would i need to drill them, they are already there. I enjoy all the info I can get on this due to I am a race bike builder not a Harley. This is my first time doing it to one of these.

Ok, I get it. You think I am using the RWD rear fender. I am using a stock Fat Bob 200(2007-2009) rear fender from Harley. The RWD part I am looking at is the Mount for the LED Cat Eye System-Flush Mount Weld-In, not the fender. I will be having the stock holes and tail light area welded up and just leaving the strut mounting wholes and turn signal holes.
