To those who have chopped their Fatboy rear fender!
My winter project is going to be to add a streched wide Fatboy rear fender and 200mm tire to the rear of my 02 Heritage. I've been looking for the rear half of a fender and so far, I haven't been able to find one.
One of the guys here on the forum had the tip, but after looking at how he's doing his, I decided that I need the section above the tail light or the hole rear half.
If any of you guys who have chopped your fender and still have the rear half laying around. I'd be interested in buying it.
I've looked on ebay and I don't really want to chop a good fender to get a small section and the damaged one's that I've found so far are usual danaged right where I need the section to come from.
I don't really know anything about how to do it, but a friend of mine is going to build it for me and he said that it would be easier if I had a second fender that he could cut the secsion out of.
