handgrip vibration
I have a 2005 Softail Deluxe that purrs like a kitty until I get to ~70mph. Once I hit ~75mph or greater the vibration on the hand grips feel like I'm holding a back messager. Is this normal? I've taken it in and I'm told that it is normal, but those whom I work with tell me otherwise. Thank you for your time.
That is the counter-balancers you feel.....
Ever ridden an Evolution era Softail?
You will be appreciative of what you feel now as compared to then....
If the vibration gets worse, or if it starts to affect your handling, take it in for service!!!!!

Mine doesn't feel like that.
Could it be your grips? Or you are maybe holding on real tight? Do you wear gloves?
Mine has vibration, but not bad at 70. Take it to fast in a gear like 2nd or 3rd and yes, but in 5th i've never had bad vibration.

I put the Kuryakyn grips on my bars - Big improvement.
My 05 Fatboy does not vibrate the way you described yours...
I'd check the following:
Wheel balance.
Fork adjusment.
Tire pressure.

I was riding a Heritage Classic a while back and had same thing as you experienced. Turns out it was the front tyre - replaced that and the problem went away.
