Cycle-Rama Engine Work
Anybody here use or familar with Cycle Rama in FL? I've read lots of good things about the engines they build and the work they do. I understand people send their engines to them from all over the USA. I'm curious to hear from folks who have actually used them? Good? Bad?
Here's a link to the kit I am considering from them. They are telling me this kit will run as good as or even better than the standard HD S/E 95", which is what I was also considering. Further, they told me going one step further on this kit with ported heads would run with the 103's. Here's the info and their website:

They are currently doing my 95ci Big Bore Kit on my 06 FLHX. The jury is still out. I am a little concerned about the money that I am putting out compaired to other builds that I am reading and the amount of up grades that they got.
I am also a little concerned because I have just dumped my extended warranty and recieved a little bad news concerning my heads.
Looks like I may get my bike back Friday. Just waiting to see how the cams and bore feel and what the dyno numbers look like after the break-in.

can i ask what type of power are you looking for.
i have some facts for you .
bore your cylinders out to 95 in.
Baisley heads
andrews 37 cam if looking for agood solid 105/105 hp/tq bike.
OR
same heads and go with the 590 t-man cam 10.5 compression
and some more steam up top will not only run with a 103 it will be a head of them for a better price.
my prefrence would be to have Baisley super street heads set up for 37 g cam or 37 chain cam , 95 in and have Doc in Florida do the work and tune.
Guaranteed ..
ill send you Docs # give him a call well worth it talk to him and see what you 2 guys can come up with

I got my bike back today and I have 61 miles on my 500 mile break in. i am going to get a oil change at the 200 mile break in point. I think that I'm going to use synthetic oil. Waiting for my dyno run.
Guys, I havent did the Dyno yet but that will happen next Monday but let me tell you that this bike is like brand new. Today was my first day to really ride it and I felt like I had a new bike. Cycle Rama has made me love this bike again. I am sure the dyno numbers will do the same.

OK, I'll be the one to ask it.. You're happy with only 86hp/102t with that build? I hope you didn't spend more than $800 cuz that what an SE stage II kit costs and dynos.. IMO your builder left a lot on the table.. Did you do any head work?
