When I got my bike about a month ago I rode down to my grandparents house, and my grandpa strapped on his overalls and took her out for a spin. He's 75 this year.....
That is really great for Grandpa, we have a fella 72 in our club riding a Heritage Springer and still loving every minute of it!!!! Tell Grandpa we said "way to go kid"!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good for him. Glad to see that your Grandpa is still young at heart. He sure had a big smile on his face. Seeing him get on your ride and take off, I bet that you had a smile as big as his, I would have.
He was in awe. His dad owned a harley shop and his last ride was a 1972 superglide/shovelhead motor. He just couldn't believe how far harley has come over the years. he wants to buy a new one this summer and ride for another year or two. he's lookin at a fat boy or a superglide.
we both rode into town after this but he wouldn't take my bike around other cars, he just rode out on some country roads...anyways, it was an awsome experience to ride with him so I thought I'd share it.
