Just got my chrome front end kit on with my ness 2" drop kit installed. The ride is better than expected. It definately evens out my ride having the front lowered. IMO the bike just didn't ride right with only the rear dropped. $120.00 + $100.00 parts and labor and NO headaches! not a bad deal. Check one more mod off of the list of several......
.
Now do you use the stock springs with the ness kit? I used the Progressive drop-in and not happy with the results as far as the drop goes
Really? I've got the Progressive drop-in in my Deluxe, and it's a bit lower than his. Rides great, imo.
I think we sit the same ElSupremo...2" drop on both of ours. As for my ride i think its great also. I have heavy fork oil in it. Rides better than stock IMO.

just getting a DNA 21 x 3 (80 spoke)with a 90/90/21 WW. most likely a metzler. american performance sells those wheels for $299.99 which are a direct bolt up for the 09' deluxe. I would get sweet wheels like what you got (except black) but my eyes are on a air-ride first.

Yeah, after looking at mine we're pretty damn close. I'm gonna go with the heavy fork oil when I do my sliders, too.
I was thinking you dropped the chrome for a blacked out front end, which is so popular these days. For me, I still love the look of shiney chrome. You're bike looks great!
I know you haven't had them on long enough to answer this yet but are you worried, that with it lower, that
rubbing the floorboards on your turns are going to be even more of a problem now then it was before?
I think I rubbed my floorboards a half a dozen times the first few months and probably only 2 or 3 times since.
I bet I'd rub them a lot more often if I lowered my bike.
