Alright boys and girls, just got 'er back from the dealer this morning and just got back from a 2 hour ride. Here's the verdict:
Corners- the turn-in is slightly different, but not alarming. I was prepared for a change, so I am riding as such. Also, I am not an aggressive leaner so the difference is negligable. I actually took it deep on a couple of slow corners and experienced no scraping at all.
Bumps- manhole covers and large potholes are NOT my friends (not like they were before). The bumpstops are being used most definately. Will have to keep an eye on that for any wearing.
Overall ride- the overall ride of the machine is actually improved. It's softer and a little more supple. However, like I stated above, large bumps are a challenge now. I am more aware of the road surface now- not exactly a bad thing.
In all, I am very happy with the results. The bike looks better and what I am giving up in absorption, I am gaining in road awareness. I am most certainly NOT getting bounced out of the saddle, nor do I feel squirrly in corners.
