Does anyone have a reliable source to the rumor of the NIGHT TRAIN and ROCKER being discontinued after 09? I can't remember who but this rumor was read on this site.
I thought the NIGHT TRAIN was one of their best selling models.

 

Reliable source for RUMOR? Sounds like and oxymoron to me.

 

These are the discontinued models: FLHT, FLTR, FXSTB, FXCW, FXDL, XL883C

This is not a rumor, I saw the HD memo. I believe they will still make the Rocker Custom (with the p pad) The night train may reappear (who knows?), but with a different model designation. Just like they discontinued the Heritage Springer in 04, they came out with the Springer Classic for 05. In July, they have a dealer show, that is when they reveal the 2010 lineup.

 

my barber told me he overheard the yardman tell the pool boy that the cashier at WalMart told him HD is discontinuing all of those and possibly the Ultra Classic and the Road King to boot.

 

Oh man...if you heard it from him...it must be true!

 

gonna have to wait and see what they give us...this happens every year...probably around july we should know, when they put them out on the floor

 

I heard that they were taking the Night Train and the EG and combining the two to get something called the Dark Bus.

Maybe they'll bring the standard back

 

Yup, they're gone as those models next year, but who knows what HD will do to replace them.

 

I confess, I started that rumor at Wal Mart just to fvck with the cashier...I didn't mean to start all this **** up, I swear! ;- )
