Default Need some help

Hello all fist let me thank you in advance for the help. I'm brand new to Harley's and i will be picking up my new Softail Deluxe this week... Can anybody suggest any good trustworthy custome shops in the Southern California area?? I'm looking to customize my new Deluxe but I don't know who to go to. I live in Los Angles County but I'm willing to drive if needed. Any help would be greatly appreciated... Thanks again.

What are you looking to do?
I know a good painter in Huntington Beach.

If your even marginally handy with a wrench and srewdriver there are a lot of things you can do with and too the bike on your own. You can save a ton of money doing a lot of the work yourself.
If you have some extra beer in the fridge I'm sure you can find a couple of guys in your area who would be willing to give you a hand on the more complicated jobs.

But FIRST thing you need to do is get hold of a service manual. It will tell you exactly how to take virtually anything on the bike apart.
It will also tell you how to put it back together properly.
A parts manual wouldn't hurt either.

PS Welcome to the soft side.

I couldn't agree more! Doing it yourself will really help you to get to know your bike better, too.

Welcome, from the Van Nuys.

Clear some space in Your garage and get after it....
nothing like knowing you did most of the work yourself....
