Finally did it, picked up a 2009 Crossbones Saturday! Of course, its supposed to rain all week now, its killing me.
I'm still trying to decide on a 2-up seat... Right now I'm thinking either the 14" Mustang vintage or the C&C Sport Tour. I sat on one with a Corbin dual tour, nice seat, but too pricey. I like the looks of the C&C but for long trips it sounds like the Mustang would be better. Any thoughts?
Looks Great!
are you going to have room to mount passenger foot pegs with the pipes you have?
In the picture it looks like they are in front of the mount....
Thanks guys, I'm already loving it. Got about 250 miles in on Saturday afternoon and Sunday, got rained on a bit but it's worth it :-D
So one vote for C&C and one for Mustang... can anybody that has a C&C seat comment on how it is for 3+ hour rides? I'll be taking a few trips between Dallas and Houston on occasion. I like the looks of the Brawler seat I have on there now but it rides like a park bench.
Cheesecake - forum member SDhdnighttrain has a good pic of the V&H Sideshots with passenger pegs mounted, its close but looks like it'll work. The do scrape on right hand turns pretty easily though.
I put a few more pics in the gallery, I'll put some more up when I get more toys for her :-)
