Default Softail front end alignment

Hi there, I'm new here. Got a used 2005 Fatboy for a couple of years now from a dealer and somehing about it has been bugging me ever since: when I ride straight on the street, the entire handlebar and fork assembly is aligned right about half inch. Something that can be done about it or is this a 2005 Softail characteristic? Thanks for your inputs!

mine was out also, what i did was put in poly bushings which i got off e-bay for around $20.00. then when i tightened down the risers/bars made sure everything was aligned correctly. good luck

If the poly risers don't work, have the dealer align it. Someone backed into my bike the other day, and I had to bring it in for an alignment. Fixed it up no problem.

Thanks for your replies. My handlebar and forks are aligned, so the risers can't be the problem (or answer). It feels like if I bent the front wheel axle to the right, the problem should go away - but of course the axle can't be bent
