it happened to me as well. i didn't mind and took it as a compliment, the guy who was running the add was actually a really cool guy about the whole thing.
their is a lot you can do about it, after 1989 your image is copyrighted. You wont get someone arrested but you can sue. after 1998 you can email the isp and have them remove the image under Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998.
We get warned about copyright infringement all the time.
I would not care, but I would email and ask for a discount in trade for the rights to use the picture.
Oh don't get me wrong guys, I do take it as a compliment but I also feel used or something as well.. Heartland wanted some pics of the bike and since they cut me some slack and were real easy to work with I had no problem.. This company in Australia just gleened my pic, never asked or anything and then started using it to sell a product that's misadvertised..
The fact that it's an Aussie company and site will make any copyright laws pretty hard to enforce and I seriously doubt I can get a product out of them cheaper than here in the states unless they ship direct from the manufacturer..
