Just powdercoated my heat shields and they are starting to bubble near the front head. I know my powdercoater will re-do them but I may want to go with black coated fishtails. Does anyone know if any companies make black or do I have to buy chrome and get them coated. What do you guys think?

 

I think you are going to need to get it coated. But...I do not know for sure.

 

I got mixed emotions on the Fishtails.I love the look but don't like the sound.Not sure how I think they would look on your bike.Put em on then let us decide,what a few hundred more dollars?

 

I've always liked fishtails, looks and the sound, not the best on performance but they have attitude.

Samson makes a set that are black. I dig the look of fishtails and I think they would look sweet on your horse.

I'm going to disagree with most....

I like the sweepers... it gives the bike more of a lowdown mean look...
IMO they flow well with the beach bars...

Fishes have there place.... I just don't think on your ride

the powder is bubbling...... is there a High-temp available??
