is to soon to switch to synthetic oil at 600 miles?

Not too soon. But if it were me, I'd change the oil with regular dino and ride it another few thousand. Cheaper for you, and the dino is a better break in for the engine.

I'll do Dino in engine and syntactic on primary and trany,I'll put another 600 than Ill switch to syntactic in the engine,what kind of Dino oil is everyone using?

You can buy Valvoline 20w50 motorcycle oild at advance auto for pretty cheap.

You can change oil to syn at mile one. It says so right in the HD catalog.

I'll do next weekend all 3 Mobil 1 full syn.the trans drain plug is located right b-tween the shocks on 09 nighttrain right?

Agreed , saw that Valvoline and Castrol 4-Stroke MC oil on sale recently at Autozone for $2.99 a quart . Was looking to change from the $6.50/qt. HD Dealer oil , picked The Castrol because that is what I have run in every vehicle I've owned in the last 40 years with great success . Sure the Valvoline is just as good .

Bel ray for the trans and no wine or clank and I can find neutral. I use Motor FactoryŽ Primary Case Lube in the primary. because Amsoil has gone up so much I just switched to Mobil 1 for vtwin and it works as good. I have 30,000 miles in about 1.5 years and it runs great and no debris in the oil changes.
