never heard of this one. R U storing it with other chemicals in the area? or done U have something on Ur hands that get on them.
Mine usually get slick and I have to use a degreaser to make them a little sticky.

There's no reason for this at all. No chemicals or anything like that near the bike. I don't normally wear gloves, and when I do they are soft leather. I am baffled.

I normally just clean mine with a little warm water and mild detergent then dry them off before putting it up. Especially if I know I'm not going to be able to ride for an extended period of time.

Maybe it's the fact that you don't wear gloves. I always wear gloves. I like the skin on my hands.

How old are they? Do you get a lot of sun where you are?

I noticed some chafing and stickiness on a pair of ISO's I had. I guess its a combination of use, UV/sunlight, chemicals (cleaning agents, polish, etc), and the specific compound they use. ISO's feel a lot like silicone.

I tried different things to get the stickiness reduced but never really able to get rid of it completely. Figured someone was telling me it was time for new grips.
