Default X-Bones Risers

I just installed 16" apes on my 09 X-Bones and it seems like there is alot of "Play" in the risers.(wiggles back and forth) Anyone else have this issue and if so how did you take care of it?? Thank you

My 16" Z bars do that too. My understanding is that the best way to fix it is to change the stock bushings to poly. I haven't done it yet but I'm sure others will chime in.

Polyurethane riser bushings. That will fix it and make it feel much more sturdy/stable.

Those are the ones - Gooden Tight. I put them on my Springer when I went to apes and they work great. They are $2 cheaper listed in Drag Specialties and if you call Hale's H-D you can get them at a discount.

Here is the Drag link

The good n tights come with riser bolts. You will have to swap them out.

Greetings,

I'm running those as well...Yes they are a little pricey but well worth it.
